About BBQ + RICE
Located at 5706 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90038, BBQ + RICE operates as a restaurant serving Los Angeles in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Because this group is broad, judging a listing on freshness, turnover and how consistent recent reviews are tends to work better than judging by decor or price range alone. Most kitchens in Los Angeles will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in California usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 amβ9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach BBQ + RICE at (323) 645-7041; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is bbqrice.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 118 reviews, which is a strong result for a restaurant in Los Angeles and suggests consistent service.
Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Los Angeles is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I ordered pick up and got the tofu bowl with modifications lol the meal is so delicious! Iβm sad it took me this long to try this place out. The worker went above and beyond with my customizations and made this bowl exactly how I wanted but with more flavor! Very friendly as well. Highly recommend

Well Priced. I got Wok Fried Tofu bowl was fresh and flavorful. It's a great vegetarian option. Possibly vegan, didnt ask about the sauce. No frills locations, just a counter and a wooden table in a stripmall but i guess they pass the savings on to you. The cook was really working the wok with hot flame right behind the counter. Also the both the pickles and the kimchi were delicious and an excellent counter point to the bowl

Bomb. I ordered the beef bowl + spice. Fresh ingredients, very well seasoned and flavorful. Nice cashier. Some guy was watching videos loudly without headphones, though, so I took my order to to go. Solid spot though.

Black Pepper Chicken Bowl / marinated chicken, bok choy, bell peppers, cabbage, onion, crispy chips, house-made pickles. - 5 stars! There are three BBQ+Rice locations in the general Hollywood area and this is my review of their third location. I am a big fan of these guys. They serve very tasty, very filling, very price conscious Korean inspired bowls and sides. I tried the black pepper chicken this time and again, was super happy with my meal. I am a big fan of eating food as fresh as I can get it, so I had my meal in their nice little dining room. This location seems to have the best seating options and easy parking so I might focus on this one for return visits. As LA slowly gets more expensive (just like everywhere I guess), it is really nice to have affordable options that are filling and lean towards the healthier side of the value meal specturm. I think they may be opening a new location soon. One of the owners mentioned a 4th space. I'm happy for them. They deserve their continued success.
